Firefighter Application

Montrose Twp Fire Department participates in community involvement and outreach programs such as:

  • School visits
  • Station Tours
  • Participate in local parades
  • Install smoke free alarms & CO2 detectors for residents
  • Host training workshops
  • Shop with a Hero at Christmas
  • Fire Danger & Burn Bans
  • Programs to promote fire safety and prevention

The volunteer firefighters and families created a nonprofit organization – Montrose Firefighters, Inc. with the Mission Statement: “The purpose of Montrose Firefighters Inc is to further support and strengthen the community we live.” This organization rents tables and chairs to residents. Funds are often used to aid an injured firefighter’s family and help others in need after a fire.

The fire station is located within the Montrose Township admin building located at 11444 N. Seymour Rd. and houses the administrative offices of the department.

Running out of this station are:

  • 1986 GMC Tanker
  • 1993 Nav/Fire Truck
  • 2000 KME/Pumper
  • 2001 Fire Rescue
  • 2006 GMC Tanker
